Services for Alfredia Evans, 78, of Monroe, LA formerly of St. Joseph, LA, who died December 9, 2014, at Cornerstone Hospital, West Monroe, LA, will be at 1:00PM Sunday, December 14,2014, at New China Grove Baptist Church in St. Joseph, LA. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Evans was born October 7, 1936 in St. Joseph, LA, the daughter of Noah and Eliza Smith Walker.

Survivors includes her eleven sons, Clifton (Glenda) Evans of Monroe, LA, Junius Walker, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, Calvin (Veronica) Evans, Oliver (Shelia) Evans both of Waterproof, LA, Issac Evans, Terry (Angie) Evans, Larry Evans, Charlie (Michelle) Evans, Reginald Evans, Mark (Leann) Evans all of Houston, TX, Curtis Evans of Chicago IL; one daughter, Linda Evans of Porterville, CA; one brother, Aldolph Walker of New Orleans, LA; three sisters, LouEthel Foules of St. Rose, LA, Hazel Walker, Helen Thomas all of New Orleans, LA; thirty-two grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Junius Evans.
