Funeral services for Alma Jeanne Houston, 86, of Ferriday, LA will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 10:00am from the Doty Road Church of God in Ferriday. She will be interred next to her husband, Dr. Dennis Houston at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS. Rev. Leonard Posey will officiate.

Mrs. Houston, daughter of Lee Dan Morgan and Mary Ellen Adair Morgan, was born in Cleveland, OH and died at Camelot Leisure Living in Ferriday.

Her husband was pastor of Doty Road Church of God and she was the musician for many years until his death. They were married June 7, 1952 in Cleveland, OH and he died April 30, 1996 after forty four years of marriage. There were no children born to this union.

In additional to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.

She is survived by on brother, Dr. Dan Morgan of Los Angeles, CA and her caregiver, Parish Jackson of Ferriday.
