Funeral services for Mrs. Althea Frazier Ellis, 93, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00am from the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Ferriday. She will be interred on  Monday, November 5, 2018 at 10:00am beside her husband, Strawder Ellis, Sr. at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS. Pastor Leroy White will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 6pm at Concordia Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ellis, daughter of Alfred and Agnes Lee Frazier was born in Waterproof, LA and died at the Promise Hospital in Vidalia, LA. She was of the Baptist faith and a retired cook.

Her survivors includes her children, Ricky Frazier and his wife, Edith of Clayton, LA; Karl Frazier and his wife Charlene of Ferriday; Martha Gray and her husband, Yates of San Mateo, CA; Edwin Lindsey and her husband, Otis of Sunnyside, CA; Gia Abbott of Seattle, WA and Karen Smith and her husband, Keith of St. Rose, LA; one sister Henrietta Murray Jones of Baton Rouge, LA.

Also a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family, loved ones and friends.
