Services for Amber L. Gordon, 36,  of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 12 noon from the St. Thomas Baptist Church in Levee Heights in Ferriday, LA. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 6pm at the funeral home. Pastor Danny Lewis will officiate.

Miss Gordon, daughter of Calvin Gorham and Janet Gordon, was born in Ferriday and died at her residence,

She is survived by her father, Calvin Gorham; her children, Amarion Gordon, Robert Loyd and Avery Loyd all of Ferriday; Shamar Gordon of Natchez, MS; one sister, Chrystal Gordon of Alexandria, LA; maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Bennie Loyd.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Janet Gordon, a nephew, Daleon Gordon and paternal grandparents, Henry Noble Gorham and Betty Gorham.
