Funeral services for Annie Lee Griggs Henderson, 90, of Ferriday, LA will be held February 18, 2017 at 11:00 from St. James Baptist Church on Bayou Drive in Ferriday under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery with Rev. LeeAndrew Martin officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 7pm at funeral home.

Mrs. Henderson, daughter of Mangle and Elnora Nickols Griggs was born in Ferriday and died at her residence. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church and a retired janitor for Concordia Parish School System.

She is survived by four sons, Ernest Henderson, Jr. of Jeffersonville, IN; Clarence Henderson and his wife, Denise of Marrero, LA; Edgar Ray Henderson and Harold Henderson both of Ferriday; four daughters, Hattie Brown and her husband Beasley; Willie Knoton all of Westwego, LA; Mildred Castille and Gloria Whitley both of Ferriday; one sister, Thelma Moore and her husband, William of Pittsburgh, CA.

Also twenty seven grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest Henderson, Sr.; one son, Bobby Wayne Henderson and one brother, L. T. Griggs, Sr.
