Funeral services for Anthony OKeefe Stokes, 58, of Ferriday, LA formerly of New Orleans, LA will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00am from St. James Baptist Church on Skipper Drive in Ferriday, LA under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Melvin Jones, III officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Stokes, son of Rev. Mack and Dorothy Nolden Stokes was born in New Orleans, LA and died at his residence in Ferriday.

He is survived by four daughters, Airreyon Stokes, Keisha Stokes and Ashley Stokes all of New Orleans; Cynthia Stokes of Baton Rouge, LA; three sisters, Bessie Jones, Ren'e Jones and her husband, Dr. Melvin Jones , and Susan Mayo all of New Orleans; and two grandchildren; a special nephew, Kitress Williams of Ferriday.

Mr. Stokes is preceded in death by his parents.
