Funeral services for Anthony Lavelle Washington, 58, of Ferriday, L will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11:00am from Union Baptist Church in Vidalia, LA. Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS with military honors conducted by the United States Marine Corp. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 7pm at Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Rev. Carl Smith will officiate.

Mr. Washington, son of Glaster Washington and Annie M. McGraw Washington, was born in Vidalia and died at his residence in Ferriday. He was enlisted in the US Marine Corp from May 28, 1981 to January 27, 1993 earning an honorable discharge.

He is survived by his children, Irving Washington and Shaline Washington both of 29 Palms, CA; Shauna Washington of Long Beech, CA; Sachel Washington of Oceanside, CA; Salina Bach of Masisee, CA; four brothers, Don Washington of Vidalia; Kenneth Washington of Oakdale, LA; McArthur Jones and his wife, Marilyn of Houston, TX; Tyrone Milligan of Ferriday; four sisters, Lisa Washington, Jonnise Milligan, Rosetta Tyler and her husband, John; Melissa Murphy and her husband, Patrick all of Ferriday; three grandchildren.

Also a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Washington is preceded in death by his parents.
