Funeral services for Archie Johnson, 64, of Ridgecrest, LA will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11:00am from St. Mary Baptist Church on Lake St. John in Ferriday, LA. He will be laid to rest beside his mother, Mary Finley Johnson at the New Mount Zion Church Cemetery in Wildsville, LA under  the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 6pm at the funeral home and again from 10am to service time at the church. Rev. Ronald Gardner will officiate.

Mr. Johnson, son of Charlie and Mary Finley Johnson was born February 23, 1955  in Natchez, MS and died November 27, 2019 at his residence. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of St. Mary Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son, Gerrick of Woodville, MS; one brother, Rev. Johnny Johnson; two sisters, Mary Davis and her husband, Wendell; Julia J. Gage all of Baton Rouge, LA.

Also a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
