Funeral services for Augusta Curtis, 90, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1:00pm from Concordia Funeral Home. Burial will be held Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11:00am at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Curtis, son of Ike and Mary Curtis was born in Ferriday and died at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday. He was a carpenter. He also served in the US Army during World War II, earning an honorable discharge for his services rendered.

He is survived one his devoted daughter, Billie Joyce Shelton of Zachary, LA; one son, Tommie Weatherspoon of San Bernardino, CA and a number of grandchildren.

Mr. Curtis is preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings.
