Funeral services for Ben "Hound" Henderson, 55, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00am from Harvest Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 7pm at the Concordia Funeral Home.

Mr. Henderson, son of Louis Henderson and the late Ernestine James Henderson, was born in Ferriday and died at Heritage Manor Health & Rehab in Ferriday. He was a painter.

He is survived by his father; two children, Derrick Shephard and Tiffany Banks; five brothers, Van Henderson and Maury Henderson all of Ferriday; Roy James, Sr. and his wife, Wanda of Colorado Springs, CO; Lionel Mosby of Monroe, LA; Carlos Henderson of Alexandia, LA. six sisters, Vickey Henderson, Viola Armstrong, Delores Henderson, Linda Henderson, Lawanda Lyles and her husband all of Ferriday; Tammy Henderson of Monroe, LA.

Also nine grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
