Funeral services for Mr. Benny Evans, 55, of Clayton, LA will be held Friday, December 19, 2025 at 12:00 noon from Shady Acres Pentecostal Church in Ferriday, LA under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 10:00am to service time at the church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery officiated by Bishop Jonathan Crist, Bro. Bascom Sills and Bro, John Crist.

Mr. Evans, son of Henson "Nasif" Evans and Elizabeth "Paulette" Evans was born in Ferriday and died at his residence. He was a general contractor.

He leaves to honor his life and legacy three children, Journey Evans of Clayton; Nicholas Chauvin of Eureka, CA and Brianna Evans of Center, TX; his parents, Henson N. Evans of Sicily Island, LA and Elizabeth "Paulette" Evans of Jonesville, LA;  one sister, Elizabeth of Jonesville, LA; three grandchildren, Sebastian Evans of Clayton, Skyler Hamilton and Charlie Fontenot both of Vidalia, LA; a special friend, Lorri Oldham of Clayton. In addition to a number of aunts, uncles and other family members.
