BERTHA GREEN TAYLOR

Funeral services for Bertha "Lisa" Green Taylor, 60, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 11:00am from Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 6pm at the funeral home and Saturday morning from 9:30am to service time at the church. 

Mrs. Taylor, daughter of Jessie and Willie Mae Washington Green, was born in Ferriday and died at the Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Taylor; two children, Xavier Green and Genesia Green; her siblings, George Gibson; Jessie Green (JaWanda); Kenneth Green (Doris Leonard); Ramonda Green (Lewis Anderson) and Alice Green; numerous grand and great grandchildren; one aunt, Elizabeth Sheppard; two uncles, Jerry Lee Green and Ernest Green all of Ferriday. In addition to a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
