Funeral services for Bessie Mae Atkins Montgomery, 70, of Clayton, LA will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00am at Clayton Garden of Rest in the Clayton under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA.

Mrs. Montgomery, daughter of Isadore and Lena Atkins Green was born in Clayton and died at Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette, LA.

She is survived by her seven children, Shawn Atkins and his wife, Valeria; Glen Atkins, Sr., Travis Atkins, Sr., Arnold Atkins and his wife, Scheider; Shelia Atkins Perkins and her husband, Myron; Veronica Mitchell and her husband, Donny all of Clayton; Johnny Green of Natchez, MS; five siblings, Isadore Green, Jr. of Clayton, Howard Bethley of Ridgecrest, LA; Horace Green and Carrie Cameron both of Winnsboro, LA; Sally Green of Monroe, LA.

Also twenty grandchildren and twenty six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
