Graveside services for Mrs. Betty Houston, 71. of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00am from the Ferriday Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10 to 11am at  Concordia Funeral Home , 609 Alabama Avenue in Ferriday.

Mrs. Houston, daughter of James and Lillie Bell Franklin was born in Ferriday and died at Heritage Manor Health & Rehab in Ferriday. She was a retired CNA and a member of Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Fayette, MS.

She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Houston of Lafayette, LA and Tricia Houston Cisse of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Lee Kelly Franklin of Columbus, GA; four sisters, Mytis Silveria, Carolyn Franklin, Irene Davis and Shirley Ann Yonkers all of San Diego, CA.

Also four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Houston is preceded in death by her parents.
