Funeral services for Bobby H. Wilkerson, Sr. 73, of Waterproof, LA will be held February 28, 2015 at 11:00am from Myrtle Gove Baptist Church in Waterproof. Burial will follow at the Canton Cemetery in Newellton, LA with Rev. Adrian Lundy officiating.

Mr. Wilkerson, son of Smitha and Loella Frazier Wilkerson, was born in Newellton and died at Natchez Regional Medical Center in Natchez, MS. He was a retired educator for Tensas Parish School System.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Kelly Wilkerson of Waterproof; one daughter, Tiffany Franklin (Correll) of Zachary, LA; one son, Bobby Wilkerson, Jr. (Santrell) of Waterproof; one sister, Luehelen Lundy of Newellton; three grandchildren, Correll Franklin, Jr. and Cayden Franklin of Zachary; Jeremiah Wilkerson of Waterproof. And a number of other relatives, friends and former students.
