Funeral services for Brenda Gail Carter, 52, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:00am from the Word of Faith Ambassador Outreach Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. A visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Carter, daughter of George Thomas and Betty Carter was born in Pineville, LA and died at her residence.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  her parents,  Betty Carter of Ferriday and George Thomas of Alexandria, LA;  two daughters, Jessica Ivory of Ferriday and LaToya Carter of Natchez, MS; four brothers, Calvin Carter and his wife, Tawanna of Baton Rouge, LA; Andrew Carter and his wife, Candice of Memphis, TN; Toney Carter and Tyrone Carter both of Ferriday; two sisters, Ulanda Carter of Atlanta, GA and Renette Cook of Monroe, LA.

Also three grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Gabrieal Carter and her maternal grandmother, Essie Lewis.
