Graveside services for Calvin W. Owens, 76, of Alexandria, LA formerly of Winnsboro, LA and Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00am at the Alexandria Memorial Garden Cemetery in Woodsworth, LA. Pastor Phillip Taylor will officiate.  A visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 6pm at Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mr. Owens, son of Allen and Charity Turner Owens, was born in Ferriday and died at his residence in Alexandria. He was retired as a manager of Eckard Pharmacy in Alexandria. Also he was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his two children, Petrina Greenhouse and her husband, Newman, III of Alexandria and Bonita Almore and her husband, Jessie of Haughton LA; one god-sister, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three sisters-in-law.

Mr. Owens is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bobby Birdon Owens and one son, Calvin D. Owens.
