Funeral services for Carmen Chatman, 66, of Nolanville, TX, who passed on Aug. 26, 2026 at Castle Hills Rehab & Care Center in San Antonio, TX, will be held at Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday, LA, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026 with Pastor Danny "Tron" Lewis officiating. 

At the conclusion of the service, Carmen Chatman will remain entrusted to Concordia Funeral Home, where cremation will take place in accordance with the wishes of the family.

Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home.

Carmen Chatman was born on Mar. 22, 1960, in Ferriday, LA, the daughter of the late Odell Williams and Maxine Scott Chatman.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Carmen leaves to cherish her loving memories to her two sons, Nieceo Amado, Port Gibson, MS, Thomas Chatman, Harker Height, TX; two daughters, Maxine Chatman, Nolanville, TX, Stephanie Hinton (Justin), Tucson, AZ; her step-sisters, Donetta Prater, Monroe, LA, Rosie B. Anderson, of Washington; seven grandchildren, Carmen McKnight, Caleb Chatman, Ayla Chatman, all of Nolanville, TX, Denasia Chatman, Leander, TX, Keleya Amado, of Alabama, Maddox Faurla, Baton Rouge, LA, Nicolette Amado, Port Gibson, MS; two aunts, Janet Cage, Baton Rouge, LA, Cynthia Chatman; one uncle, Calvin Chatman (Bren); two good friends, Dana Lewis, Johnese Milligan, all of Ferriday, LA; a host of cousins and friends.
