Funeral services for Carolyn Ann Lyles Jamison, 68, of Decatur, Georgia, formerly of Vidalia, LA, will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 28, 2025 at St. Thomas Baptist Church in  Ridgecrest, LA with Pastor Jonathon Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday, LA..

Carolyn Ann Lyles Jamison was born January 31, 1957  in Vidalia,  LA to Carrie Lyles and Ernest Payne. She made her Heavenly journey home on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at her residence in Decatur, GA.

Carolyn fell in love and married Emanuel Jamison. They did not have any children. Unfortunately, things did not work out well for them. So, they divorced.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother: Randy Young Sr., sisters: Leotha Williams and Victoria Lewis. She leaves to cherish her memories, brothers: Michael Lyles, James White, and Kevin (Debra) Payne; sisters: Gwen (Billy) Taylor, Marie Yearby, Toni Payne and Selvyn (Andrae) Payne, aunt: Odessa Stevenson, great aunt: Sadie Lyles, Godchild: Carrie Sheeley and a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins, and  friends.
