Services for Charles Smith, Sr., 88, of Ferriday, LA will be held Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00am from Concordia Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS.

Mr. Smith, son of Charles and Fannie Smith, was born in St. James, LA and died at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday.

He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a retired barber.

His survivors are: three children, Charles Jr., Beatrice and Penny Smith; two sisters, Dorothy Hensly and Gloria Simmons; his step children, Mona Bias, Denise Bias, Albert Bias and Damika Bias.

Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents; twos isters, Theresa Stieb and Shirley Joseph; four brothers, Milton, Alex, Percy and Lawrence Geason.
