Funeral services for Chevy Tellis Book, 29, of Jonesville (Sandy Lake), LA  will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 at 3:00pm from the Goodroad Pentecostal Church, 112 Goodroad, in Jonesville (Sandy Lake) under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Burial will follow at the Hamilton Cemetery in Manifest, LA. Bro. Chad Franklin and Bro. David Poole will officiate.

Mr. Book, son of James Book  and Shannon Coldrion was born in Ferriday and died at his residence,

He is survived by his wife, Emily Carter Book of Jonesville; his parents; his parents, James Book of Monterey, LA and Shannon Coldrion of Leland, LA; two sons, Ashyton Pecanty of Jonesville and Dakota Taylor of Bossier City, LA; one brother, Christian Book of Jonesville; paternal grandmother, Lynn Book of Monterey and Nelda Trottier of Ferriday. Also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Chevy is preceded in death by his son, Noah Jones Pecanty; paternal grandfather, Curtis Butler, Sr,; maternal grandparents, Melton and Valeria Coldrion. Also his step-father, Curtis Fudd Butler,
