Funeral services for Chrissy Ceasor Barnes, 46, of Ferriday, LA, who passed on Jan. 24, 2026, will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, Word of Faith Ambassador Outreach, Ferriday, with the Pastor Troy Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow at St. James BC Cemetery, Frogmore, LA, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 to 6PM at the funeral home.

Chrissy Ceasor was born on Dec. 25, 1979, Ferriday, LA, the daughter of Vera Ceasor and Lionell Proby, who raised her as his own.

She leaves her laughter, smile and memories with her family; her parents; her husband, whom she loved dearly, Frederick Barnes, Sr., whom she loved very much, Frederick Barnes, Sr.; two sons, Davonta Ceasor, Frederick Barnes, Jr.; two brothers, Lavon Ceasor, Jonathon Ceasor; two aunts, Jeannette G. Conner, her husband Jimmie, all of Ferriday, LA, Alice Lee, Alexandria, LA; four uncles, Herman Ceasor, his wife Beatrice, Perry Green, his wife Patricia, Roger Green, all of Ferriday, LA, Nathan Polk, Alexandria, LA; a host of other relatives and friends.
