Funeral services for Christopher Collins, 33, of Vidalia, LA will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11:00am from the St. Stephens Baptist Church in Vidalia, LA. Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery with Rev. Leon Dixon officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 to 7pm at the Concordia Funeral Home.

Mr. Collins, son of Thomas Evans and Ruthie Collins Carter was born in New Orleans, LA and died at his residence.

He is survived by one son, Malik Grant of Slidell, LA;  four brothers, Marc Merriman and his wife, Janet of Slidell, LA; Worthem Merriman and his wife, Shonvez of Houston, TX; Devin Collins and his wife Ashley of Natchez, MS; Thomas Evans of Los Angeles, CA. Also three sisters, LaTonia Evans, LaTisha Evans Gripper and her husband Justin and Jessica Evans all of Los Angeles, CA; one aunt, Delores Anderson of Ferriday, LA.

Mr. Collins is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Antonio Evans.
