Funeral services for Clara Velma Robinson, 89, of Waterproof, LA, who died October 23, 2014 at Passages Hospice & Sanctuary in New Orleans, LA, will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof with Rev. Adrian Lundy officiating.Burial will follow at Good Samaritan Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, 9:00 AM until service time at the church.

Clara was born on December 3, 1924, in St. Joseph, LA, the daughter of Armster and Nesha Rogers Bivens.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Fannie Jacobs.

She is survived by her three sons, Solomon (Evelyn) Robinson of Las Vegas, NV; Percy (Shelia) Robinson , Christopher (Cassandra) Robinson all of Waterproof; four daughters, Patricia Robinson, Gretna, LA; Johnnie (Dan) Raymo of Waterproof; Mary (Donald) Baldwin of Houston, TX, Debbie (Marcus) Robinson of New Orleans, LA; 138 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great children; four very close friends, Augustine Levy of Ferriday, LA; Margaret McFarland, Lilly Strawder and Rosie Turner, all of Waterproof; and a host of other relatives and friends.
