Funeral services for Contina Sanders - Milligan, 51, of Ferriday, LA, who passed on Aug. 8, 2024 at her residence will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in  Ferriday. Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 to 6PM at the funeral home.

Contina Sanders Milligan was born on Sept. 22, 1972 in Alexandria, Louisiana, the daughter of John and Judith Sanders Young.

She is preceded in death by her mother.

Contina leaves her loving memories to her husband, Mark Milligan; one son, Troy King, Jr. of  Ferriday, ; one step-son, Defonte Leonard of  Cartersville, GA; one daughter, Shikira Sanders of  Natchez, MS; three step-daughters, Marquita Robinson, Martika Robinson, both of Ferriday;  Markeitha Leonard of  Cartersville, GA; two sisters, Makisha Young, Ericka Barnes and  her husband Andrew, all of Natchez, MS; three grandchildren; ten uncles and aunts; a host of other relatives and friends.
