Funeral services for Cora White Dixon,67, of Vidalia, LA will be held Friday, June 16, 2017 at 11:00am from Zion Baptist Church in Vidalia. Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 7pm at Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA.

Mrs. Dixon, daughter of Dan White, Sr. and Margie Chatman White, was born in Natchez, MS and died at Natchez Merit Hospital in Natchez. She was a retired coder for the University of Chicago.

She is survived by one daughter, Yolanda Brown and her husband, Eric; one sister, Deirdra Arrington and her husband, Rickie; one brother, Elbert White all of Vidalia; three grandchildren, Quaneitra, Quanda and Quintez Brown; three step grandchildren, Ronald Crawford, Victor McKeal and Shauntaeu all; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her parents; seven siblings, Dan White, James White, Leonard White, Willie White, Dorothy White, Irene White and Orma Jean James.
