Services for Coretta Lewis, 45, of Vidalia, LA will be held March 7, 2015 at 11:00am from St. Stephens Baptist Church in Vidalia. Burial will follow at Whitehall Cemetery in Vidalia with Pastor Raymond Riley, Sr. officiating.

Miss Lewis, daughter of Andrew and Toisetta Ellis Lewis was born in Vicksburg, MS and died at the River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was a correctional officer for the Angola State Penitentiary in Angola, LA.

She is survived by one brother, Ernest Ellis and his wife, Phyllis of Ferriday; one uncle, Leon Wilson of Vidalia; one niece, Ernestine Davis of Cartersville, GA; two nephews, Rev. Julius McCray and his wife, Shirley of Ruston, LA; Fred McCray of Ferriday two great-nephews, Francis Duncan of Jacksonville, AL and Brandon Duncan of Ferriday; special friends, Robyn Gordon and Katrina Moore both of Vicksburg. Also a number of cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her aunt, Ruth Wilson.
