Funeral services for Corine W. Harris, 94, of Waterpoof, LA will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 at 11:00am from Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Natchez, MS with Rev. James Beverly officiating.

Mrs. Harris, daughter of Rodney and Maggie Henderson Harris, was born in Ferriday, LA and died at her residence. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by six daughters, Maggie Reed of Birmingham, AL; Verna Harris of Los Angeles, CA; Carolyn Harris of Waterproof; Linda Godley and her husband, Clifford of Natchez, MS; Brenda Harris and Annette Harris both of Houston, TX; one son, Albert Harris, Jr. of Waterproof; one sister, Ruby Billups of Grambling, LA; one sister-in-law, Lucille Weekly of Califonia; twenty one grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Albert Harris, Sr., three children, Odester Reed, Betty Harris and Eugene Harris; one brother, Percy Weekly.
