Funeral services for COSTA L. PRYOR. 60, of Ferriday, LA were held, December 31, 2016 from the New Morning Star Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial followed at the Ferriday Cemetery with Bishop Justin Conner officiating.

Mr. Pryor, son of Willie and Irma Crumb Pryor was born in Natchez, MS and died at the Promise Hospital in Vidalia. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Concordia Parish Police Jury. He was a dedicated fan for Ferriday High School sports.

He is survived by five brothers, Willie Pryor, Jr. Grayland Pryor and his wife, Lola; Michael Pryor al of Ferriday; Donald Pryor, Sr. and his wife, Rita of San Diego, CA; Shelton Pryor, Sr. and his wife, Barbara of Harvey, LA; four sisters, Carol Smith of Clayton, LA; Gail Pryor and Kimberly Pryor both of Ferriday; Zina P. Butler and her husband, Andrew of Houston, TX; one aunt, Emmalene C. Broom of Ferriday; a special cousin, Prince Broom, Jr. of Fairburn, GA.

Also a special nephew he raised as his own, Howard Johnson of Lake Charles, LA; ten nephews; four nieces; eighteen great-nephews and great nieces and numerous cousins.

Mr. Pryor is preceded in death by his parents.
