Beloved mother of Saunya O'neal and Debra Webb and sister of Bernice "Bonnie" Dixon, was called to her eternal rest on July 17, 2015 at 12:04AM at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, LA. She was born in Monterey, LA, the daughter of Matt and Ella Edwards Dixon.

Her funeral services will be held Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11:00am from the New Morning Star Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery with Pastor Danny Lewis officiating.

She is survived by two daughters, Saunya and her husband, George O'neal, Jr.; Debra Webb; one sister, Bernice Dixon all of Ferriday; two grandchildren and a number of cousins and other relatives.

Miss Dixon is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Matt Dixon, Jr. and one sister, Shirley White.
