Funeral services for Creola Jefferson Barber, 86, of Lake St. John, Ferriday, LA will be held December 8, 2018 at 11:00am from the St. Matthews
Baptist Church on Lake St. John. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 6pm at Concordia Funeral
Home of Ferriday.

Mrs. Barber, daughter of Isaac and Mollie Carter Jefferson, was born in Lismore, LA and died at her residence. She was a member of St. Matthews
Church where she served on the Usher Board and the Mother's Board.

She is survived by one son, William Barber; seven daughters, Jennie Barber and Deloris Barber all of Ferriday; Gladys Welsh and her husband,
Herbert; Frances Wilson and her husband, Henderson all of  New Orleans; Leola Grant and her husband, Isaih of Orlando, FL; Ella Alexander and
her husband, Jimmy of Columbia, SC; Alice Barber of Hawthorne, CA; twenty two grandchildren and a number of great-grand children, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and loved ones.

Mrs. Barber is preceded in death by  her parents. her husband, James I. Barber, Sr. ;  three sons, Barber, Clarence Barber and James I. Barber, Jr..
