Funeral services for Daffney "TeeWee" Watson, 89, of Ferriday, LA will be held February 25, 2017 at 11:00am from St. James Baptist Church in Frogmore, LA under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. She will be interred at the Natchez National Cemetery beside her husband, John Page Watson, Sr. in Natchez, MS. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home. Dr. Joshau Joy Dara will be officiating.

Mrs. Watson, daughter of Osborne and Sallie Green Smith, was born in Frogmore and died at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, LA. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of St. James Baptist Church.

She is survived by five sons, John Page Watson, Jr. and his wife, Ollie of Houston, TX; Donald R. Watson and his wife, Tanya of Cedar Springs, TX; Alonzo Watson, Sr. and his wife, Jennifer of Katy, TX; Henry Watson and Charles Watson both of Ferriday; four daughters, Lizzie Watson Dixon of Vidalia, LA; Barbara A. Watson of Pineville, LA; Delores Schiele and her husband, Rev. Everett Schiele; Archia L. Cotton all of Ferriday.

Also twenty nine grandchildren, thirty three great-grandchildren, twenty eight great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews, In addition to her lifelong friend, Lula Freeman and her best friend, Mrs. Marie Banks.

Mrs. Watson is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two daughters, Eartha Lee Harbor and Christine Mariella Schiele; one grandson, Ricky Tyrone Harbor; three sisters, Pauline Carter, Lizzie Smith and Rosa Wilkins; three brothers, Jeff Smith, West Smith and Willie Smith.
