Funeral services for Daisy Belle Washington-Johnson, 61, of Ferriday, LA will be held June 14, 2014 at 11:00am from Bethel Church in Vidalia, LA. Burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Church Cemetery in Wildsville, LA with Pastor Troy Thomas officiating.

A visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson, daughter of Alex and Lettie Carter Washington was born in Ferriday and died at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jennifer Washington; one brother, Robert Washington; three sisters, Jenny Washington, Ollie Sasper and Mary Jones; and a grandchild, Shelton Fisher. She is survived by two sons, Maurice Washington and Henry Simpson of Ferriday; six brothers, Albert, Larry, Johnny, Jessie, Freddie and Glenn Washington all of Ferriday; three sisters, Rosie Smith of Olive Branch, MS; Shirly Randall and Diane Shannon of Vidalia, LA; seven grandchildren, DeVonte Fisher, Demaris Fisher. Cardrick Hawkins, Jerius Scott, Jatoya Washington, Joshua Dixon and Miya Leonard; two aunts and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
