Funeral services for Daniel Johnese, Jr.,49, of Natchez, MS will be held December 9, 2014 at 12:00 noon from the Clayton Apostolic Church in Clayton, LA. Burial will follow at the Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island, LA with Rev. Melton Rushing and Brother James Cockerham officiating.

Mr. Johnese, son of the late Daniel Johnese, Sr. and Emma Matthews Johnese was born in Natchez and died at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. He was an oilfield worker.

He is survived by his wife, Heather Roberts Johnese of Natchez; his mother of Sicily Island, LA; three daughters, Rosalie Cook and her husband, Lee of West Monroe, LA; Heather Martin and her husband, Corry of Ferriday; Savannah Clem and her fiance' David Trim of Natchez; one brother, John David Johnese and wife Paula of Clayton, LA; two sisters, Patricia Darlene Walker and her husband, David of Sicily Island; Betty Ann Mossop and her husband, Donald of Houston, TX; his mother-in-law, Linda Smedley and her husband, Raymond of Natchez; father-in-law, Tommy Roberts of Vidalia, LA; seven grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles and other relatives.

Mr. Johnese is preceded in death by his father and one daughter, Rebecca Johnese.
