Funeral services for Dannie Lee Curry, 61, of Alexandria, LA formerly of Ferriday, LA will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11:00am from Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday with Bishop Justin Conner officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 7pm at Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Burial will be held at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS with military honors.

Mr. Curry, son of Herman Curry, Sr. and Willie Mae Coleman Curry was born in Ferriday, LA and died at his residence in Alexandria, LA. He served in the United States Army, earning an honorable discharge.

He is survived by his mother, Willie Mae Curry of Ferriday, six brothers and five sisters; a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Preceding him in death is his father, Herman Curry, Sr.
