Funeral services for Dawayne Erik Coleman, 60, of Ferriday, LA will be held Friday February 2, 2018 at 11:00am from Concordia Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 7pm. Rev. Billy Williams will officiate.

Mr. Coleman, son of Thornel and Ruth Dickson Coleman was born in Houston, TX and died at his residence. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force

He is survived by his wife, Mary Mays Coleman of Ferriday; two sons, Reginald Bass and his wife, Devin of Grand Prairie, TX and Erik Coleman of Ferriday; one daughter, Althia "Yetta" Bass of Ferriday; three brothers, Keith Coleman, Russell Coleman and Troi Coleman all of Houston, TX; two sisters, Gleneit Williams and her husband Rev. Billy Williams of Katy, TX; Tanya Williams of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mr. Coleman is preceded in death by his parents.
