Funeral services for Dawn Evelyn Bell Thompson, 63, of Killeen, TX, formerly of Vidalia, LA will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 at 10:00am from Union Baptist Church in Vidalia. Burial will follow with full military honors at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS. Rev. Carl Smith will officiate.

Mrs. Thompson, daughter of William and Irma Bland Bell was born in Natchez and died at the Seton Medical Center in Harker Heights, TX. She was retired from the US Army with twenty years of service to her country earning an honorable discharge.

She is survived by her two son, William B. Thompson and Malcolm G. Thompson both of Killeen, TX; one sister, Evang. Eva Banks; two brothers, Melvin Bell and Jerry Bell all of Vidalia. She is preceded in death by her parents and a number of siblings.
