Funeral services for Deaconess Dimple Irvin Reed, 96, of Baton Rouge, LA, formerly of Ferriday, LA, who passed on Dec. 17, 2025 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge, LA, will be at 11:00AM, on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, at Mt. Beulah M.B.C., Ferriday, with Rev. Douglas Reed officiating.

Burial will follow at Clayton Garden of Rest Cemetery, Clayton, LA, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Dimple Irvin Reed was born on May 4, 1929, Waterproof, LA to the union of Rev. Benard A., Sr. and Lettie Carrie Peals Irvin.

A women of remarkable intellect and determination, she leaves to cherish her memory; her one brother, Andrew Irvin, Wappingers Falls, NY; one sister, Marvia Hill, Orange, TX; six children, Fred Butcher (Elaine) Ferriday, LA, Linda Turner, Alexandria, LA, Lintean Gaines (Oze), Baton Rouge, LA, Brenda Irvin, Baton Rouge, LA, Andrew Irvin (Sabina), Alexandria, LA, Sonya McCoy (Randy), Dallas, TX; twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives and friends.
