Funeral services for Demetra Y. Morris, 45, of St. Joseph, LA will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11:00am from the Greater St. John Baptist Church in St. Jospeh. Burial will follow at the Oneona Cemetery in St. Joseph with Rev. Donald Scott officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10am to service time at the church.

Ms. Morris, daughter of Henry Moses and Linda Morris was born in Newellton, LA and died at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, LA. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Linda and Johnny Coleman of St. Joseph; her father, Henry Moses of Tallulah, LA; her twins, Tyler Allen Morris of Dallas, TX and Taylor Morris of St. Joseph; a cousin raised as a brother, Thaddeus Morris of St. Joseph; three step brothers, Cedric Coleman and his wife, Michelle; Brian Coleman and his wife, LaDonna all of Baton Rouge, LA; Johnny Coleman and his wife, Tameka of St. Joseph; one sister, Agape Skinner of Monroe, LA; step sister, Demetrius Mitchell and her husband, Leroy of Baton Rouge.

Also three aunts, Toni Morris of St. Joseph; Aundrea Carter and her husband, Bradley; Paula Webb all of Senatobia, MS; one uncle, Cleandrew Morris of Las Vegas, NV; three great-aunts, Elnora White and her husband, Joe of Las Vegas; Rachael Branch of Tallulah, LA; Olivia McDowell of Muskegon, MI and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
