Donald Ray Brown, 61, of Ferriday, LA son of Hardy Barber and Gloria Jean Brown was born in Pineville, LA and died at his residence. A private memorial services will be held at a later date.

He is survived by a son, Kevin Banks of Austell, GA; his siblings, Michael Brown of Ferriday; Daniel Brown of West Berlin, Germany, Willis Carter of Dallas, GA, William Carter of Powder Springs, GA, Carrie Ann Pleasant of Sicily Island, LA, Christine Carter of Marietta, GA.

Also three uncles, Herbert Brown and Midget Brown both of Ferriday; Marvin Brown of St. Louis, MO.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
