Funeral services for Donnie Elvin Thomas, 68, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00am from Concordia Funeral Home, 609 Alabama Avenue in Ferriday. Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10am to service time at the funeral home. Pastor Danny Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery.

Mr. Thomas, son of Donnie Russell and Ellen D. Thomas was born in Chicago, IL and died at his residence. Donnie enjoyed watching sports on Directv. He loved watching any kind of sports, football, basketball, baseball and all other sports. He could almost accurately predict the winner before the game even started. Watching sports were his favorite passion.

He is survived by his devoted sister and caregiver,  Laura Hayes of Ferriday and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
