Funeral services for Doretha G. Woodfork, 89, of Natchez, MS will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 10:30am from Living Word Worship Center, 8 Covington Road, Natchez. A visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon, from 3 to 6pm at the Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday, LA. She will be interred beside her husband, John Woodfork, at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez with  Pastor Dwight Greene officiating.

Mrs. Woodfork, daughter of Jimmie and Susie Watkins Greene, was born in Vidalia, LA and departed this life surrounded by her children at her residence . She was retired from Concordia Parish School Board for over thirty years as an educator and special education supervisor. She was a member of Living Word Worship Center where she served as a Sunday School teacher and she served on the church finance committee.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, and nine siblings, Clifford, Jimmie, Leon, Arthur, Ernestine Green, Joyce Chocolate, Rosemary Singleton, Ethel Lucas and Hazel Lorman.

She is survived by her children, John Keith Woodfork (Trishelle) of Lamar, MS; Calvin Woodfork (Sharon) of South Haven, MS; Doris Woodfork and Jacqueline Hawkins (Melton) all of Natchez; two brothers, Wendell Greene, Sr. of Vidalia, LA and Wilbert Greene (Cynthia) of Los Angeles, CA; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and her church family at Living Word.
