Funeral services for Dorothy C. Brown, 80, of Ferriday, LA, were held June 6, 2020 from Concordia Funeral Home with Rev. Leroy Brown, Sr. officiating. Burial followed at the Clayton Garden of Rest Cemetery in Clayton, LA.

Mrs. Brown, daughter of Calvin Collins and Rosie Stewart Jefferson was born in Ferriday and died at the Camelot Leisure Living Home in Ferriday. She was a retired Certified Nurse's Assistant.

She is survived by her husband of sixty three years, Rev. Leroy Brown, Sr.; two sons, Leroy Brown, Jr. and James Leo (Grace) Brown; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Arthur Collins of Jonesville, LA; Henry Ford Field of Flint, MI and Herman Collins of Baton Rouge, LA; three sisters, Mary Drumgoole (Lionel) of New Orleans, LA; Queen Field of Flint, MI; Molly Hilt (Oscar) of Ruby, LA.

Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Judy D. Collins and one brother, Calvin Collins.
