Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Crumb, 90, of Ferriday, LA will be held Friday, December 23, 2023 at 11:00am from Concordia Funeral Home, 609 Alabama Avenue in Ferriday. Bishop Justin Conner will officiate.  She will be interred beside her late husband, Hardy Crumb at the Natchez National Cemetery at 12:30pm in Natchez, MS. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Crumb, daughter of Frank Lancaster and Mariah Woods, was born in Ferriday and died at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. She was a retired school bus driver for Concordia Parish School Board.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband and three sons, Hardy, Jr., Harvey W. and Hilton Crumb. She leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, Hodges R. Crumb of Monterey, LA; Hilary Crumb of Austin, TX; Herbert G. Crumb of Ferriday; two daughters, Annie Crumb Taylor  and her husband, Warren of Lakewood, WA; Dorothy Thomas of San Jose, CA; daughters-in-law, Jackie Crumb of Natchez; Loe Crumb of Maryland; Pam of Homer, LA; Carla Leake of Sacramento, CA and Jackie Thomas of Jonesville, LA.

Also three brothers, Joseph Taylor and his wife, Faye of Baton Rouge, LA; Jacob Taylor and his wife, Valerie; Robert "Rock" Davis and his wife, Patricia all of Ferriday; one sister, Marie Banks of Ferriday. In addition to sixteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces,  nephews and friends.
