Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Wilkerson, 90, of Jonesville, LA were held August 1, 2017 at the Moss Grove Baptist Church in Jonesville. Burial was held at the church cemetery with Rev. Thess Baker, Jr. officiating. Mrs. Wilkerson, daughter of Brazil and Birdell Blackman Watson was born in Wildsville, LA and died at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday. LA. She was a member of Moss Grove Church and Pride of Jonesville O. E. S.

She is survived by two sons, George Monroe Wilkerson and his wife, Betty; James Lamar Wilkerson and his wife, Donna all of Jonesville; two daughters, Barbara A. Wilkerson of Washington, DC; Rutha Wilkerson-Gohagen and her husband Donald of Pontiac, MI.

Also one brother, Samuel Bowie and his wife, Maebell of Bunkie, LA; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
