Funeral services for Dutch "Pop" White, Sr. 73, of Ferriday, LA will be held September 2, 2017 at 11:00am from Harvest Baptist Church in Ferriday under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. He will be interred beside his wife, Thelma Jean White at the Myrtle Grove Cemetery in Waterproof, LA with Rev. James Beverly officiating.

Mr. White, son of John and Josephine Petty White, was born in Waterproof and died at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home. He was a retired heavy equipment operator.

His survived by his eight children, Dutch White, Jr. (Melissa); Joseph White (Darlene); LaKendrick Green; Nicole White and Brenda White all of Ferriday; Demetrius White (Chelsea) of Lafayette, LA; Lubertha Jolla (David) of University Place, WA; Gwendolyn Renee White (Glenn) of Houston, TX; a granddaughter he raised as his own daughter, J'Nyjah White of Ferriday; four brothers, Joseph White (Leola) of Houston, TX; Mark White (Katie); Charles White all of Ferriday; Evan Stacker (Blanche) of San Antonio, TX.

Also seven sisters, Annie White and Marilyn Stacker (Ronald) of Kenner, LA; Louise Mayse (Eddie); Sherry White; Patricia Hall (Raymond) all of Ferrdiday; Brenda Davis (Jamie) of Waterproof; Ruby Walker (Willie) of Houston TX; a special friend, Vera White of Ferriday; nineteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
