Funeral services for Earnest P. White, 94, of Wildsville, LA will be held Thursday, July 3 2014 at 12:00 noon from St. James Baptist Church in Frogmore, LA. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Rev. L. B. Oliver will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6PM to 8PM at the funeral home and again Thursday morning from 11AM to service time at the church.

Mr. White was a retired educator for Concordia Parish School System. He received his under-graduate degree from Grambling State University and his Master's from Southern University. He was also a Senior Deacon for St. James Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Paul White of Wildsville, LA; Earnest Merle White of Atlanta, GA; one daughter, Edna Yvonne White-Dixon and her husband, Charlie of Alexandria, LA; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. His wife, Willie R. White preceded him in death.
