Funeral services for Eddie Lee Martin, 70, of Ferriday, LA, who passed on Mar. 26, 2026 at Our Lady of the Lake, Baton Rouge, LA, will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, Apr. 4, 2026, Mercy Seat B.C., with Bishop Justin Conner officiating.

Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, Apr. 6, 2026 at the National Cemetery, Natchez, MS, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 6PM at the funeral home.

Eddie Lee Martin was born on May 24, 1955, Ferriday, LA, the son of Lawrence, Sr. and Ethel Henderson Martin.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter & Beatrice Henderson; paternal grandparents, Oscar & Annie Martin; his parents; two brothers, Lawrence Martin, Jr., Joseph L. Martin.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife, Joyce Woodruff Martin; two sons, William Woodruff (Shirley), both of Ferriday, LA, Louis Woodruff (Tiffany), Baton Rouge, LA; one daughter, Armani Franklin; two brothers, Rev. Lee Andrew Martin, Sr. (Juanita), both of Ferriday, LA, Billy Martin, Sr. (Karen); three sisters, Annie Palms, Gladys McCray, all of Houston, TX, Patricia Williams (Elmore), Ferriday, LA; five grandchildren; two uncles, Leroy Henderson, New Orleans, LA, Ike Washington, Sr., Ferriday, LA; a very special cousin, Louis Johnson, Jr., Ferriday, LA; a host of other relatives and family friends.
