Services for Eddie Warner, Jr., 84, of Vidalia, LA will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00am from St. Stephens Baptist Church in Vidalia. Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Riley officiating.

Mr. Warner, son of Eddie Warner, Sr. and Alberta Washington Warner, was born in Vidalia and died at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro, LA. He was a carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Lee Hampton Warner; three sons, Charles Warner of Vidalia; Eddie Warner , III and his wife, Brenda of Norfork, VA; Melvin Warner and his wife, Wanda, of Zachary, LA; six daughters, Patricia Warner; Cathy Collins and her husband, Johnny all of Natchez, MS; Rosa Warner, Linda Lou Warner and Brenda Longmire and her husband, Paul, all of Vidalia; Eloise Lyles and her husband, Michael, of Ridgecrest, LA.

Also one brother, Frank Warner, Sr. and his wife, Sammie; three sisters, Francis Wagner, Johnnie Lyons and her husband, Ernest, all of Vidalia; Alberta Bruster of Ferriday; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mr. Warner is preceded in death by his parents.
