Funeral services for Edgar Ray "Eekoo" Henderson, 58, of Ferriday, LA will be held Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00am from Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS.

Mr. Henderson, son of Ernest and Annie Lee Griggs Henderson was born in Pineville, LA and died at the G. V. (Sonny) Montgomery Veteran Hospital in Jackson, MS.

He served in the US Army from July 6, 1978 to March 30, 1981 earning an honorable discharge.

He is survived by one daughter, LaMonica Henderson; three brothers, Harold Henderson both of Ferriday; Clarence Henderson and his wife, Denise of New Orleans, LA; Ernest Henderson, Jr. of Jeffersonville, IN; four sisters, Hattie Brown and her husband, Beasley; Willie Knoten and her husband, Jessie all of Westwego, LA; Mildred Castille and Gloria Whitley; one grandchild, Ralajah Henderson all of Ferriday. Also four aunts and five uncles.

Mr. Henderson is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Ray, Leonard, Don, Sandy and Bobby Henderson.
